Day 01
Negombo
On arrival in Negombo, a warm welcome and transfer to the accommodation awaits. After the long trip, rest and unwind, maybe take a serene walk along the beach, or stroll through bustling local markets.
Day 02
Galle
You will venture to Yala which is recognized as one of the most lauded national parks in Sri Lanka. Yala contains a wide variety of animals including leopards and elephants. Also, you will go to the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project to see the efforts being made to save the marine turtles who are now facing extinction. Also, the guests of the place are given a lovely boat ride through the Madu River that touches small islands and mangrove forests. Then, to get to Hikkaduwa Beach, the third step in your journey, set out to see the fabulous Galle Dutch Fort, the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 03
Nuwara Eliya
Go on an exciting safari spree around Yala National Park today. Look out for the elephant and leopards, who live in secret, and the many varieties of birds; all this as you make your way through the diversified landscapes. Further on, the stunning Ravana Waterfall will come into view as a hidden gem encircled by dense forest.
Day 04, 05
Nuwara Eliya
Next, you will be taken to Nuwara Eliya, famously called "Little England" in Sri Lanka for its salubrious climate and colonial architecture. On Day 4, go on a trek to Little Adams Peak for panoramic views of the green tea gardens and valleys below. On Day 5, be prepared for one of the most thrilling train journeys in the world from Ella to Nanu Oya. Go on a tour of the Damro Tea Factory for an insight into the art of tea manufacturing and admire the beautiful Ramboda Waterfall, rounding off a day of natural wonders and cultural discovery.
Day 06
Kandy
Today, you will go to Kandy, a cultural hotspot located amongst picturesque hills. You will see the Temple of the Precious Tooth Relic, which has stored the precious tooth relic of the Buddha. Afterward, you will visit the lovely Royal Botanic Gardens, boasting its unique collection of flora.
Day 07
Sigiriya
As you end the journey to Sigirya, an inscription in the UNESCO World Heritage Site represents the epitome of the Kingdom of King Kassapa. Thereafter, direct yourself to the Pidurangala Rock for a scintillating bird's eye view of the nearby herbaceous climate; also, it is worth visiting before you get to the Sigiriya Rock. The next night will be spent at Passikudah.
Day 08, 09
Trincomalee
Wake up in the morning with the silent charm of Pidurangala Beach. Feel free to spend time alone, reviewing your feelings. In the afternoon, visit the famous Thurukoneshwaram Kovil - the most sacrosanct Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva therein Trincomalee. The next day, enjoy the scenic beauty and feel the clear sky filled with the sea at Trincomalee Beach to extract as much pleasure from your day. Whether it's swimming, snorkeling, eating, or drinking, find a nice combination of them all in Trincomalee for whatever you'd like to do.
